Today I got to hang my giraffe painting from my solo show in the house of the friend who bought it. He also had another giraffe I’d done, one that goes back to 2013, before I even started blogging. We decided to hang them side by side and they look good together. So that was satisfying.
I wasn’t as sore after my volunteer shift as I expected. My knees didn’t hurt, my shoulders didn’t either for all my agitation with the baton. My upper arm feels sore where I got the shot, but nothing terrible.
John and I decided to have one more event to close my show, an open house of sorts on Sunday the 28th, from 1 to 4pm. I think that will be nice, a final chance for people to see the paintings, and a good way to conclude this experience.
