In pursuit of a gift for one of my readers, I ended up at Hendley Market, one of my favorite stores on the Island, a place that inspired the store in The Glory Days of Aimée Bonnard. And guess what? They had adorable miniature carousel horses! Which totally goes with the theme of the book.
The rest of the day was spent feasting, shopping, and taking very long walks with my friend. I think Holly and I will sleep well tonight.
