Sunday Walk

Today I took a very long walk. Some of the prettiest streets are devoted exclusively to pedestrians on the weekend. It was nice to walk around in the middle of the street with no cars. People were out, enjoying the promenade, old ladies in knit skirts and patent leather shoes, a young woman wearing a sequined skirt and white sneakers, but in a really cool way not many would be able to pull off.

I found a really beautiful coffee shop that played the best music. But I kept on walking.

Everything seems really slow to me right now. I’ve been here almost a week and yet I feel like I’ve just arrived. Maybe it’s the pandemic that’s changed my perception of time. But a week seems not very long at all.
