I slept through the storm and so did Holly. Had I not seen the fallen branches outside, I would have thought it was no big deal. The power didn’t go out. All the dogs were ok, and with the Pointers’ human finally returned I was able to paint a lot today, and I mean a lot. I can’t share everything I made as one of the pieces is a commission, but I can show you this small seascape and some Barcelona tiles I made in shades of beige and gold.
I’m also happy to announce that I’ll be sending the jazz age mystery manuscript to the editor tomorrow, so things are definitely progressing nicely on all fronts.
