Things I really loved about today: Walking to the festival venue early in the morning all the way from my hotel, stopping to buy pastries with pine nuts, seeing the green parrots in Plaça Reial, adjusting the lights to make Cinderella really shine, meeting other artists, a strong café con leche I got to drink outside in the sun, mussels from a can and good Spanish beer in the afternoon, some of the people who stopped by to see my art, and finally eating a simple dinner while watching the light display on Gaudí’s La Pedrera from my living room.
