Today was rainy but pleasantly warm. I love this kind of winter day in Texas where you feel spring is just around the corner. To make things even better, the bluebonnet seeds I’d planted have started to grow and my poor lemon tree, which I was afraid had died during my absence, is sprouting brand new leaves.
I spent the day cleaning and rearranging things, then my friends who are as cautious about Omicron as I am came by for dinner. All in all, it’s been a good day.
