I’m obsessed with the crown molding – and not only. The Palace Hotel in Sinaia, dating from back in 1911, is pretty much a legendary institution. With views of lush green forests, and balconies that allow tourists to enjoy temperatures much cooler than in Bucharest, the hotel is ideal for a summer escape. Of course, it’s a beautiful place to stay in the winter too, and as such it makes a cameo in my latest novel, Ana Martinez Has No Shame.
