Today it finally rained, big heavy rain that hopefully washed most of the pollen off my car. I made two more paintings to add to my Power Wall, still displayed at John’s, for today’s happy hour. The happy hour was mostly quiet but that was nice. I got to know one of the other artists better, got to visit with one of my friends, and saw Nancy very briefly. Later, I drove to the Jung Center, where an artist friend was having a show. We talked about the possibility of her doing one of my Blackbird residencies, and that was really exciting.
