Today I spent the day at Mock & More Gallery. Since my little house is currently hosting the resident artist, I had to travel back and forth from Houston, and I took my little dog with me, because it was too long a day to leave her all by her lonesome.
Several good things happened today, including I gave an interview about my books to Culture Clash Magazine, but here’s by far the best thing: Yesterday, when my resident artist arrived, she was wearing a beautiful flowy summer dress, very feminine and ethereal. I kept thinking about it later, and wishing I had a few more summer dresses, contemplating maybe doing a Goodwill run. Then today, my friend who works in a clothing boutique offered me some lovely dresses her boss had given her. It was so serendipitous, as if the Universe had heard my thoughts about wanting to dress more fun for summer. Perhaps this upcoming Strawberry Moon will be a good one.
