Ok, so, I would rather still be on my wonderful trip and being back home feels all kinds of overwhelming, but since I am back, here are some things I missed while I was away, which I can currently enjoy: painting with acrylics, and all the fun that comes with layers of paint. My bed, which strikes the perfect balance of firm and soft and has very smooth cotton sheets on it with tiny tunas, my Breville espresso maker. My car, maybe, though I didn’t want to drive it yet today, I just started it up and confirmed it was fine. Indian food, definitely. Must have some soon.
For today, I mostly tried to get rest, tried also to eat healthy and get my steps in. I made a small acrylic painting. I felt a lot more grounded while working on it.
