In which I return to the Island, and I swear the blackbirds are happy to see me. The weather is glorious, my friend and I had a late lunch by the water, and it actually feels really good to be back.
I realized by looking through the pictures on my phone, that today is the one-year anniversary of seeing my sweet little house for the very first time. I celebrated by hanging my paper mache horse in the front door window. I think it’s a suitable Halloween decoration. Also, I want to have an epic Halloween party.
