Most days I make art and I write books. Other days I wake up dreaming of a luscious almond fig tart and decide I just must go to HEB and buy the ingredients to make it. See, I was having a lovely group of parents from Harvard Elementary come by in the evening for a tapas social surrounded by art and I had already bought everything for savory snacks, but then I thought: let there be figs!
It ended up being a lovely evening and the fig tart was definitely a key element of it. Look at this wonderful group of people in my studio!
