After approving the paperback and finishing my coffee, I drove to Campeche Cove Animal Hospital with a bunch of copies of Holly’s latest book of poetry for the whole staff that cared for her so well and made her departure really sweet.
In the evening a friend came by with her dog. It was a smushy faced girl that made similar snorting sounds to what Holly used to make and also crossed her legs the same way when lying on the floor. They brought me a cute little Boston Terrier Catrina statue to add to this year’s ofrenda and also beautiful flowers from their garden.
