Today the weather turned cold again and I felt sleepy. It being a Sunday, I treated myself to a fair amount of laziness and also to having my favorite almond butter pancakes and a few other items from Snap Kitchen delivered. I did, however, undertake one serious endeavor I’d been postponing for way too long. I started making my travel arrangements for my upcoming trip to Paris, Berlin, and Bucharest. After all, the trip is less than a month away, and something as simple as picking a hotel, especially in Paris, takes me hours and hours. I have to confess, I’m terribly picky, and where I stay matters immensely to me. Inspiration starts with my hotel room, so I need one that’s full of charm. After spending nearly the whole day looking at pictures, maps, and reading reviews, I do think I’ve made some decent choices. Now that that’s finally out of the way, it’s time to start preparing in other ways, like having my Chanel vest dry cleaned, making arrangements to board the dog, and maybe writing the remaining 20,000 words on the first draft of my Galveston ghost story.
