Today I did the Winter Market at the Heights Women’s Club, an organization I’ve become very fond of and decided to join. It was a fun event, and the best moment for me was a woman looking at the books on my table and telling me she’d read Storms of Malhado and really enjoyed it. She said she discovered it through a Facebook ad, and I realized I must be doing something right, because she’s just the kind of reader I’m looking for. It’s been a crazy crazy year and a long one too, but I’m learning more and more and making some good connections.
