Tonight was opening night for Places in Between, my show with Sarah Rimboch at Mid Main Gallery and it was awesome! I met a lot of wonderful new people and I had a good time – and even sold some art and books.
The day started on the Island with coffee outside bright and early. Then there was a walking tour, lunch at Ronnie’s, the drive back to Houston where my sycamore tree waited for me very much alive, a little nap, a little snack, and finally the show this evening where people were nice and I had fun talking to them. It was as ambitious a day as I’d planned in a good long while, but it all turned out great. Does this mean Retrograde is finally releasing its grip on us all? Here’s hoping!
