After a month of talking myself out of it every day, I finally moved the furniture in the gallery back to its original position. The little horses are sitting together again. Also, there are currently 12 horses in the gallery and they’re arranged in a circular position so I must be doing something right.
I did start on a painting today but it’s not yet ready. In a way it feels like I have nothing to show for myself at the end of the day except for the horse gathering, but actually it was a very happy and productive day. I sent out an email and had some very positive interactions with collectors, including selling the owl painting I made the other day. I also stretched a big canvas and finally, in the evening, went to John’s for a show where I met some very nice new people who have a new house, a new baby, and want to come see my carousel horses.
