Today I went to Hendley Market, my favorite store on the Strand to make sure they’re well stocked with books for Dickens on the Strand, the Victorian street festival that starts tomorrow. I haven’t been to it in years, but it can be lots of fun! My friends at Hendley Market lent me this fabulous hat so I could dress up for Dickens. It definitely inspires me to put together a fun costume. I’m kind of tempted to ride one of my carousel horses around. For now, I just put the hat on its head, but tomorrow, both horse and hat will be my festival accoutrements.
