The day started with a photo shoot of my porch, so I could update my AirBnb listing for Blackbird Cottage. Then the day took me to various places: the Railroad Museum to pick up my paintings of Ashton Villa, Hendley Market to drop them off, because that’s where they will now be displayed, an estate sale in a historic house, then finally on to Houston where I picked up my paintings at Fidelity in the Heights. I did most of this with a king cake in my trunk, which I had bought at Kroger in Galveston early in the morning for tonight’s vision board collage workshop. The workshop ended up being wonderful. Nice people, really good energy. Some inspiring conversations, some funny moments, overall a really good vibe.
